Sections
The Scout Association is made up of five youth sections covering the 6 to 25 age range. All sections in all of our Scout Groups and Explorer Units are open to both boys and girls.

Beaver Scouts are boys and girls aged 6 to 8
Cub Scouts are girls and boys aged 8 to 10½
Scouts are boys and girls aged 10½ to 14
Explorers are young people aged 14 to 18
